Functionality: This Weatherdock combination antenna can be used with the easyTRX or other Class B AIS transceivers. There is no special device or adapter necessary. The antenna is supplied with two 6m long cables. One for the VHF and one for the GPS. The TNC plugs are assembled to the cables to connect it to the easyTRX. The cables can be extended by a cable extension up to 15m. But, please if you extend the cables, please use good cables extension, eg. Aircell 7 or similar and not the regular RG58. The VHF/GPS combination antenna can be used for every Class B AIS transceiver which needs GPS raw data and an antenna to transmit the VHF AIS data. (Most of all Class B AIS trasnceivers do need raw data GPS antennas)
