SOB Standard Version

A User License PASSWORD is emailed to you after payment.
Non-Commercial SOB users can use their password to license SOB on three computers.
If the "download only" option is purchased then the emailed password is all you receive. Visit the Request Unlock Code webform to use the password to license your installed SOB copies.
If the CD-ROM option is purchased, your User License PASSWORD is also included in the package.

All SOB versions are THE SAME PROGRAM. The different versions are controlled via the issuing of new UnlockCodes to enable the different functionalities:
Unlicensed version: can be used for a 1 month (30 days) trial period. Use beyond this time limit without licensing will be restricted to basic navigation functions only.
Standard User License: allows you to unlock SOB on up to 3 computers for unrestricted use. SOB will be fully functioning except for the extra features provided in the Pro version.
Pro User License: is the same program as the Standard License but enables ALL features in SOB. EG: Unlimited simultaneous AIS Targets, all Networking features, full "Buddy Tracking" abilities and more.
Commercial License: is the same as the Pro-Version, however a separate license must be purchased for each PC. (Bulk purchase discounts are available on request).
Private users can receive 3 unlock codes per License, Commercial users must purchase a separate license for each computer in use (bulk discounts are available).

C-Map Charts
SOB is compatible only with C-Map Electronic Charts. Compatible formats: NT, NT+ and MAX. Any previously licensed charts of these formats can be used. CM93 charts cannot be used with SOB.
C-Map charts are available on CD-ROM or cartridges (eg c-cards, SD cards as used in chartplotters). Cartridge charts can be used with SOB via the C-Map USBMM Card Reader. Please note the USBMM card reader is only available with C-MAPS PC Planner System. For CD-ROM chart selector CD please e-mail or get in touch with us for further details.

The PASSWORD is used on the Unlock Request Form to issue you the correct UnlockCode for your purchased SOB User license.

Software-On-Board Full Setup
The SOB auto-install file(120Mb download) can be downloaded immediately. This one file is used for Win2K, WinXP, Vista or Win7. Once installed, apply an UnlockCode to License you copy (eg, Standard or Pro License codes).
Upgrades SOB updates and upgrades (20Mb Upgrade only) are released regularly, check back frequently. Current release is SOBvMAX 8.7 (May 10).
Foreign Language Versions The foreign SOB versions (10Mb Upgrade only) can either be setup over any installed SOB version (any language), or downloaded in-full from the following links:
