The smallest chartplotter in Black Box version capable to be connected to a wide range of monitor, with 3 different display resolutions: 640x480 or 800x600 or 1024x768.

Ideal for installations where space is a plus, the compact  EXPLORER 3  provides high performances without sacrificing any functionality. It features a new 400Mhz microprocessor capable to manage the 5 I/O port and the optional equipment like Black Box Fishfinder, Radar Antenna, AIS receiver, Autopilot.

It is the perfect mate for the professional fishermen or high-tech dashboard. The 4 SOFTKEY enable a very simple use and rapid entry for WAYPOINTS, MARKS, ROUTES, up to 10,000 points. The double chart slots make very simple to save tracks, waypoints, marks for any future needs.

Waterproof and ruggedized, the EXPLORER 3 can be mounted indoors or outdoors. The flexible mounting configuration allows the EXPLORER 3 to sit surface mounted or racket mounted.

You will need an external NMEA 0183 GPS Receiver or GPS Sensor input and VGA monitor to complete your Explorer 3 Chart Plotter System... Please see options below.
