This model is suited for internal use in boats with glazed or part glazed wheelhouses or cabins the unit offers ADSL speed broadband and supports VoIP telephony.
The range of Hubba marine broadband devices can provide ADSL speed broadband up to 20 miles off shore. Delivering average 2Mb download speeds, creating a WiFi hotspot or wired network or that also supports landline equivalent telephony. Ideal for commercial marine, and pleasure boats.
The unit operates using 3G technologies to provide connectivity via an integrated data SIM, therefore each unit requires activation of a basic 1Gb data plan which can be upgraded dependent on your individual needs.
Why not make the most of the connection and add a telephony service or camera security system. With VoIP telephony for a small additional monthly fee you can give your boat its own 01/02 telephone number and with a handset enjoy typical UK landlines calls of typically 1pence per minute.

The unit is powered by via a 240v standard UK mains plug, but by using a 12v DC converter (not supplied) the unit can with be powered from equivalent of a car battery.
With two Ethernet ports the unit can be connected by standard cabling. The inbuilt WiFi uses IEEE802.11bgn standards to enable the connection of multiple devices including laptops and iPads.
Hubba offers broadband and telephony anywhere, subject to mast transmitter proximity, with patented antenna technology extending reach and improving data speeds, the unit is capable of providing ADSL speed connectivity instantly.
Supporting 3G data, WiFi and security standards the unit is also capable of business class use, offering VPN compatibility typically supporting voice or data needs of 6 users.
